How to use Shiginima launcher to play without a Minecraft account

1. Download the launcher

Download Shiginima 4.400 launcher.jar (5.7 MB) and save it somewhere handy.

2. Make a startup script

Linux and macOS

Create a new file called start.sh, with the following contents:

Make this file executable by right-clicking and checking Properties > Permissions > Allow this file to run as a program.

Windows

Create a new file called start.bat with the following contents:


java -jar launcher.jar

3. Change the parameters

By default, Shiginima uses some outdated flags that will prevent newer versions of Minecraft from launching properly. Make sure to edit your profile, then check the box for custom JVM Arguments. Delete everything in there, except optionally -Xmx (which controls maximum memory usage) and -Xmn (which controls minimum memory usage).

/register password password: Protects your current username with a password of password. Aliases: /reg
/login password: Logs you in with the current username. Your session lasts until you have been disconnected for over 10 minutes. Aliases: /log, /l
/changepassword oldpassword newpassword: Changes your password from oldpassword to newpassword. Aliases: /changepass, /cp
/email: Contains subcommands for managing your recovery email
/email add you@domain.tld you@domain.tld: Adds you@domain.tld as a recovery email for your username
/email show: Shows your current username's recovery email

/totp add: Generates a secret for setting up TOTP, and also provides a link to a QR code that you can scan with a phone authenticator app
/totp confirm 123456: Using 123456 as a code generated by your TOTP application to confirm successful setup
/totp remove 123456: Using 123456 as a code generated by your TOTP application to disable TOTP for your username
/logout: Lock your account -- for example, if leaving your computer unattended but still connected to the server
/unregister password: Removes the password password from your current username.

SkinsRestorer

Set your skin and have it be visible even though the server is in offline mode. By default, the skin used will be based on your current username, but you can change this.

/skins: Shows a GUI selector of skins from all known usernames.
/skin Notch: Sets your skin to the same skin as the player with the current official username Notch
/skin http://someurl.tld/skin.png: Sets your skin to the selected PNG image at the path specified

EssentialsX

Provides many useful commands for players.

/spawn: Go to world spawn
/sethome: Save a location for later warping
/sethome name: Save a location for later warping via specifying name
/home: Warp to your default home
/home name: Warp to the home with a given name of name
/tpa username: Request to teleport to the player username
/tphere username: Request the player username teleport to you
/tpaccept: Accept a teleport request
/craft: Opens a crafting table. Aliases: /c
/survival: Teleports you to the survival world
/creative: Teleports you to the creative world

BentoBox/BSkyBlock

Powers the Skyblock gameplay mode.

/island: Teleports you to the skyblock world. Aliases: /is
/is reset: Reset your island to a template

Towny

Used for claiming chunks and adding friends that you trust. Press F3+G to see chunk borders.

BlockLocker

Similar to Lockette, this plugin allows you to lock chests, doors, and some other blocks by placing a sign on them. The first line of the sign should be [Private]. Other lines should be the usernames allowed to access. If you need more space, you can add a second sign with [More Users] as the first line. Adding [Everyone] will allow anyone to open or use the protected block, but not destroy it. Additionally, you may use [Redstone] on a chest to allow hoppers to add and remove items, and [Timer:N] on a door to have it automatically switch back after N seconds.

Example of two signs that will allow 4 different players to open a door with Redstone and have it close after 3 seconds:

/lock # text: Change the text on line # of a sign to text. Can be used to avoid having to break and remake a private sign. Aliases: /bl

ChestSort

Sort chests and inventories in bulk.

Default ways to sort:

Shift-click an empty slot
Double-left-click an empty slot
Middle-click any slot

Optional features:

Auto-sort any container you left-click
Auto-sort any container you use
Auto-sort your inventory when you open it
left-click outside your inventory to fill a chest with matching items; double-left-click outside your inventory to fill a chest will all inventory items (except your hotbar)
Optional feature: right-click outside your inventory to take matching items into your inventory; double-right-click outside your inventory to take as much as you can into your inventory

/chestsort: Show a GUI which allows you to enable and disable certain features

DiscordSRV

Bridges in-game chat with the #minecraft channel on the NeoZones Discord community.

SilkSpawners

Break spawners by using a pickaxe with Silk Touch. A spawner of that type will be added to your inventory.

MobsToEggs

Throw eggs at mobs to have a random chance at obtaining a mob spawn egg of that type.

ArmoredElytra

Allows you to combine Elytra with chestplates. Now you can fly and have protection at the same time!

DragonDropElytra

Killing the Ender Dragon will drop one Elytra, so you can fly before reaching an End City.

ShulkerRespawner

Shulkers will respawn in End Cities, so Shulker Boxes can be a renewable resource.

BetterTridents

Drowned that spawn with tridents will drop them more often, scaled with Looting level.

Harbor

Accelerates the night when at least half of the active players are in bed.

DropHeads

Gives a random chance of a head dropping when a player kills another player or mob.

Current config: Must use an axe, sword, or hoe. Iron or better. Axes have 2x chance.

A quaint house and crop garden. The house is made with birch log supports and oak planks, with dark oak slabs and stairs forming the roof. Tall flowers are used as accents. A small river flows downhill next to the garden.

Krunkentown

At the foot of the mesa, one can see a nonbinary flag and a smelting machine.

Millwall

1.17 Vanilla

This was a world where everyone was given op so they could play around with new 1.17 mechanics. We spawned on an island in the middle of a large ocean. This server lasted about a week or two, and then we moved to the next server when Paper 1.17 was released.

An island in the middle of an ocean. There is a blackstone house with a copper roof in varying states of oxidation. A garden with trees and bees is on the roof. Crimson fungi and chorus plants surround the house. A warped plank bridge extends into the ocean. Beacons forming a trans flag can be seen in the background, along with a lightning rod.
